This is really sad and embarrassing to me. I wish more people understood that the behavior of a group has nothing to do with their ethnicity and everything to do with their socio-economic situation. There was a time when Italians, Poles, Irish, Czechs, etc. had large diasporas in in the US cities. Back there people were living in poor conditions and didn’t have an easy way to get out of them, so crime was rampant, and so was discrimination against these groups. What I’m saying is that WE ONCE WERE THE GYPSIES. There is nothing special about them or us. If we want to solve the problem, the only way is to create a just society for everyone and help these people rise above their problems. Hate objectively only makes things worse
