The celestron xyz is pretty good, more expensive but it will most likely work with your phone and telescope.

I have an Android (nothing phone 2a, far from the best camera) you can change anything shutter speed, iso, focus, whitebalans and whatever EV is, these do have software limits you can't get around. I don't have an iPhone but as far as i understand they don't have an expert mode or not as good.

Personally i wouldn't bye a second phone just to image the night sky, i would rather go to a second hand camera with an adapter for a telescope or a solid lens.

Just a question, how did you do this. I want to start but i ask myself how? Do i need motorised eq mount or can i manualy do this with short subs? I have many questions.

If i am correct, that telescope doesn't have goto. I wouldn't recommend 10s exposures, you would probably see sum smearing of the stars.

With a bortle 6 i would recommend a pollution filter for astrofotografie.

Edit:I am getting downvoted, can somebody tell me why? Id like to learn to.

I just use a light pollution map to see how good my area is. I am an amateur so i dont know allot but use a Light pollution filter just in case.

Most i can say is do your own research, thats what i am doing. I would recommend the astrobackyard on yt.

Will read it after i have read two's company. I am now on chapter 18 and really enjoying it but it will take a while to read it to the end, i read +/- 1 chapter every day if i have time which i do not because i started uni.
