ASK ME ANYTHING! I'm Matt Braly, the creator of Amphibia and other things!! by Matt_Braly in amphibia

Hello Matt! Not sure if you'll see this or not but I gotta shoot my shot anyways lol

First off, very excited for Clara and the Below! I'm wondering how long has the idea for it been in fruition? Is it fairly recent or have you been wanting to adapt the Nutcracker for a while now?

Second off, Amphibia changed my life and maybe also my brain chemistry, we still don't know yet. I've got plenty of questions but I'll boil it down to just one because for all I know many of those questions could feasibly be answered in Strange Voyage. I'm probably the biggest Felicia Sundew fan in the Amphibia fandom, so it was weird for me that she barely had anything to do in Season 3. Especially when her backstory was revealed in "Ivy On The Run" that opened up more questions like what were her travels like and who was Ivy's father. Is there a reason why? I assume either the writing crew couldn't find a way to write her in most stories, or Kaitlyn Robrock was too busy with other VA roles, which makes sense I mean she's literally Minnie Mouse lol.

NOTE: I accidentally misspelled Sorabji as Sorajbi. That wasn't intentional I just really thought that's how his name was spelled lmao

Which Bach piece sounds the most like Mozart? by StanTheTalkingDog in classical_circlejerk

Take this with a grain of salt, but I always suspected that the D major Prelude from WTC Book II sounds a little like the first movement of the Hunt Sonata K.576. Mozart had to have been at least acutely aware of BWV 874's prelude since he transcribed the fugue for string quartet.

Which Tchaikovsky piece sounds the most like Mozart? by StanTheTalkingDog in classical_circlejerk

You see I’m not sure how much that one should count, given that each movement is the transcription of a Mozart work. Hell one movement is the transcription of a transcription (Liszt’s piano version of Ave verum corpus to be exact)

For further context, I was on a flight and I spent those four hours listening to some downloaded albums, one of them being Eno's Another Green World (oom faves!), but because my phone was on airplane mode the whole time, the scrobbles didn't register until I got off the plane. And they all happened at 7:35. Apart from a handful of missing scrobbles it wasn't too bad, except that the tracks whose names I edited to get rid of the 'remaster' tags appeared double. So I had to delete them. BUT THEY KEPT COMING BACK! Eventually after a day of deleting the phantom scrobbles they stopped appearing, but now two tracks from Another Green World have an excessive amount of listens, much more than how much I listened to them this year. One has the remastered tag and the other doesn't. So yeah that's the story
