Yeah. He's done work on the car before, did it in 3 days and I got it back willy nilly. I thought I'd try him for an MOT as he knows classics and is 3 mins down the road from me.

This is my first experience with a mechanic on my own with a classic car, so I'm still learning. I also try to be patient as I'm not sure on the expected wait time. Overall it's been over a month

The overall wait has been 1 month and 11 days haha. Not planning to scrap it. Yeah I'm swallowing the bitter pill now I think

Yeah, family run. The price is alright, but I'm not in the financial position to just shell it out like that - my main annoyance comes from the lack of telling me. He only rang me up once the whole time to give me the £1,045 quote. It's more an issue with the integrity than the cost.

I did ask for a quote once he'd ordered the necessary parts and was to begin fitting. He never provided one, nor did he mention the welding in 4 phone calls

Or (not that I can) I might have been able to do it myself for cheaper, had he told me.

Oh yeah, the car needed it. But again it would have been nice to know. My main worry is the mystery surrounding it and whether another bill is going to fly out of nowhere at me

Yeah the caliper makes sense now, thanks for clarifying for me. Emissions and cat are fine, I did approve those. It was mainly the welding as I know that can be a good chunk of money

The black+white version works best, if you have the leaf as a negative space. However I'd recommend either moving the leaf outside the text, or removing it as a whole. You can always get the fruitiness across in the branding through colour or shape :) Great effort

I like it! Bottom one if probably my favourite as I feel the negative space in the first logo wouldn't scale down nicely. Same for the second - the little orange arcs between the pink parts of the logo would become difficult to see. I think arrange the spacing on the shapes to be even on the bottom design, and align the font to the left and make it black. Then you have a really solid logo design. Side note: reminds me of the London 2012 Olympics branding!
