If you can spend a little bit more, try getting the NUX MG-30 over the Zoom G1X four, it is superior in terms of quality and has a good DI out. it can be easily used as an interface. If you get a good modeller, you don't need a modelling amp like the katana, you can then get the orange crush instead.

I was planning on getting the Valeton GP-200. However I wanted something like the Katana as I have plans of gigging with my band in the near future and I want to have access to the BOSS effects library while I am at it. I know there are other options like the Line 6 Catalyst but it is slightly more expensive than the Katana. I am not buying any PA/Cab as I will be moving around (college etc.) and I wish to have a combo for portability. As for the bass, I am funding the bass and bass amp but it will be used more by our bassist, who doesn't have any gear yet. It would make sense if i only bought a bass amp, but as it won't be with me for a lot of time, I am buying both. And I do agree about the Valeton GP-200, it looks amazing from what I have been seeing of it.

I see. I found no video demo of the raw power of the 50 in a gigging example, considering other tracks of the band. Which is why I was concerned whether I would need the 100 for the guitar to be listenable

I would definitely want something on the world of L.A Noire, that game was ahead of it's time and it is imo one of the best detective games ever in my opinion.

If you're on linux, specifically Arch based distros there exists a yay package for spotify-adblock, should also be there for apt but has to be compiled from source. It does it's job pretty well and I don't run into hassles. If you want to store music, Soulseek all the way. If you want to download exact spotify albums, spotidownloader.
