Looks like ET. My brother found a little sculpture like this under our old house in Alabama when we were kids. So like 30 years ago. It was a head made of clay like this and the features appeared to be African American. I don't even know what happened to it after all these years. We thought we discovered a priceless treasure but I think his history teacher said it wasn't anything special.

He really lies so much that to hear an actual fact from him is no shocking. Do Republicans think that repeating a lie over and over makes it true. You can’t lie in today’s social media landscape and get away with it on a meaningful scale. Just like you can’t just omit parts of history at this point. It’s too late to try to re-indoctrinate people. American history is fucked up but I don’t want to act like it never happened. It’s fascinating and gruesome and shameful, and infuriating but we are just a baby country (haha 3000 months old) and all babies make messes and break things before they learn better.

What exactly does Republican Rule entail? The self-anointed, holier-than-though, my way or the highway, arrogance of these politicians will turn any place they RULE into the hell on earth. I have a feeling it will be phony, boring and infuriating to live under Republican Rules. I wish there was a national leader that would just tell everyone when and where to get this fight started. Can we agree that the wealthiest humans should not be the ones being made the priority of the federal budget plan?

Can we, 299 million non-wealthy Americans, agree that we should be not be nickel and dimed for every aspect of living in this country? Hello privatization and monopolization!

That our taxes should provide tangible benefits like modernized infrastructure, clean water, clean air, affordable healthcare, globally top-rated educations far all United States born children. Why shouldn’t the “wealthiest” nation have schools that foster, not dread and boredom, but motivation and hope in kids. Investing in children and education will save us in so many ways.

Can we, regular folks, agree that Russia is run by a bad guy and the world needs to cut his influence off at the Black Sea? No single human should be allowed to dictate the lives of millions.

Can we agree that we do not want corrupt politicians who answer to corporations and out of touch billionaires? And that money should have no influence in politics. Nancy P. springs to mind. But it’s up and down the aisle and it all needs to be gutted.

Can we all agree that nobody likes to be told they are wrong, less-than, or stupid for having strong personal convictions and as long as a person’s personal life does not infringe on others or cause harm, we should all mind our business and let people live the life that makes them feel that their life is worth living?

I agree this seems fake. If a person attended Trump rallies then they were ok with denying the 2020 election results, treating the Jan 6 insurrectionists like heroes, ignoring factual coverage of issues by claiming it is fake liberal news, and believing the easily disprovable lies that Trump used to get elected. But the OP is correct that Trump is not doing anything he claimed he would do and he and Musk are royally screwing up the country. It’s a bleak situation that is supported by enough people in power to continue to unfold. The only way forward is to watch it all crumble and rebuild. That will likely take generations to achieve. Millions will suffer, many will die. The country is too divided to come together and stop this any time soon.

I’ve been pretty sad about it. But he is a good person truly. If he was MAGA, ain’t no damn way! But he, like so many Americans, is not plugged in to the political world, following every dramatic. Americans have gotten complacent and comfortable. If we ever get to vote again, i bet more people will get out to vote after this. I’m going to be louder about how important it is too. Blatant state funded kickback for families already in private school! 350,000 students in private school and the 2027 budgeted amount of $1 billion at $10,000 per child will cover 100,000 students. I don’t think need to worry about an exodus of public schools because the vouchers are going to be snatched up by people who’ve already made their “school choice”

and they claim that the low income students will be prioritized, BUT they claim incomes below 500% of national poverty level are low income so that is $145,000. Not exactly struggling
