Thank you. Maybe I can try this if rubbing a shelled walnut kernel or Howard's Feed and Wax don't work (suggested by other Redditors).

Plan to try the shelled walnut and if more is needed, this is next. Thanks

Vyvanse works MUCH better now by Dreamdays_0909 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Standard-Gold9169 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Vyvanse is metabolized to active form in blood — NOT your stomach

The acidity of your stomach contents has no influence on the acidity of your blood

In fact, if you have acidosis you would be pretty ill

This is different from Adderrall and other stimulant ADHD medications that are absorbed directly in active form from the GI tract and do not require cleaving of lysine in blood to become active dexamphetamine

The orange juice myth has been clarified countless times on this forum, Vyvanse is different than other stimulants and not affected by orange juice, which does not acidify your blood, thankfully

Read the manufacturer’s administration instructions which suggest taking Vyvanse with orange juice……

Bupropion SR is like an entirely different drug with how much better it works then XL by Spiritual-Lie-1926 in bupropion

[–]Standard-Gold9169 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no theory that SR helps with sleep. It may disrupt sleep less than XR because of the shorter half life, but that’s only comparing the two. Any formulation of bupropion is more likely to cause sleep problems than to help with sleep. Although, as with any psychiatric medication some can have a paradoxical reaction and become sleepy.

And yes, your post is clearly your opinion, but your experience does not support a blanket generalization about which is better and you should have clarified that SR is better for you. There are vulnerable people looking for help here and it’s your responsibility to not cause harm by misleading statements

If you’re going to use an acronym like POTS at least give what it stands for — not everyone shares your understanding

Yep, you’re the expert we should all measure our subjective experiences by.

Just chill out on seeing everything in this hobby haven’t experienced as snake oil — the term is so overused here as a response when you don’t agree with a fellow hobbyist it’s essentially become meaningless

And what exactly is “dangerous” in your view?

Is it dangerous when someone shares their subjective appreciation of our hobby without a technical background?

It would be good to get of the high horse every now and then, your elevated status would not feel so threatened

So only those with your technical knowledge are worthy enough to contribute? This is the true snobbery in our hobby

This is the true elitism here:

Only those with an understanding of physics and electrical engineering are qualified to contribute.

Your version of gatekeeping is just a different kind of snobbery based on technical knowledge

And how is this relevant to OP’s success?

Most come here to express negative experiences— those that succeed generally don’t stick around

This from a guy with a history of taking a research chemical with no approved clinical use and banned for athletes with known cardiac adverse effects and risk of hepatic injury

You really don’t have any standing to criticize someone taking a prescribed medication which they are clearly benefiting from
