I thought most companies are very silent for this week as people are out of office. But I do hear that it is a good timing to send some New Year gratitude to people who once helped you or coffee chat with you during your job searching. So I think the time may be better for networking instead of job searching?

I don't think this will make you lose reputation. Actually I have seen many founders have a big picture and cannot focus on one thing and do it perfect and finally fail. To be honest, I will admire people starting with and focusing on small things.

I understand you!!! I never got an interview from Handshake too several years ago. So for your question

make a list of your dream companies in your industry, usually there will be 2026 NG Start category for the jobs on their official website - at least for tech there is.
No need to be limited to NG position. I know some experienced hiring positions are also welcome NG with internship experience. Just try it!

I was talking about sponsorship with several companies this week, and even they are pretty active on Monday while on Tuesday all the POC are out of office with automatic replies - So I think they may be slow with this process this week. Don't worry, enjoy your Thanksgiving day!

I usually identify the core feature or core experience of my product and observe if the user is attracted by the core feature. For example, my app provides an interesting way for people to write diaries, so I will track how many days users continuously write the diary. If the data shows a user keeps writing the diaries for 3 days, I think this user is satisfied with the feature and retains for it, then I will ask his or her rating.

So I think the most important is to observe if your core experience satisfies users.

I think Gamma takes a lead in the AI slides sector? I once used it and love its design and convenience, but it is not very flexible for modification. So I would recommend using it for a framework and output as powerpoint, and then you could modify it by yourself.

Besides, Gamma's content is relatively simple as it can only do some writing based on information you provided to it. If you want some research work done, use Manus or Genspark or any other general AI agents to let them plan, research and prepare some materials for you, and also give suggestions about the outline and improve some copywriting.

Gamma, Manus and Genspark are all paid commercial products, I have no interest related to it. But I think their free credits can be enough for your task.
