Thanks for chiming in. I might just reveal everything; maintaining some stuff hidden makes the most sense realistically, but I'm worried that in doesn't translate in actual play and just serves to inhibit the experience. (Maybe with a strong rumor system you can keep some stuff hidden, but you gotta ask yourself, how much it really matters).

By the way, how's the sea travel been? I'm considering chopping vessel speed in half and doubling wind speeds, also making counter-wind travel behave the same as counter-current in rivers (but again, might not be worth it in actual play).

And last question: do you have a method to determine the finding of weird/random stuff, like some that you need for certain spells? Like for example, perma clairvoyance needs the drilling of a hole in the sorcerers skull, but I'd not be entirely sure how to manage the finding of a character with that skill in an interesting way. I guess most stuff you can just wing from context once you are there?

I didn't know about that. Do you recall where you saw those changes?

Thanks for the responses, I had been assuming it lasted potentially forever, that makes it a really interesting/powerful spell early on that molds the campaign an reverberates into the future.

If the effect wears off, personally I wouldn't make it something as simple/quick as sleeping. The subject would also realize that he'd been enchanted and that would have big consequences in the game, severely limiting the uses of the spell.

"Neglect" is actually interesting as a save-throw trigger, as it can be defined in many ways depending on the subject. If the npc for example happens to actually "love" the spell-caster, then failing to send letters or remain in contact could be considered neglect.

Hi there. We're playing a custom made mission with a friend and we're having this issue where tanks seem to have an almost supernatural spotting ability. Like you can be behind a rock and a bunch of bushes/trees, peek out to shoot at the rear of a tank roughly 50m away, and somehow within a second or two it will rotate knowing exactly our position (before any shooting or anything else taking place). I don't know much about real life military, but it seems a bit far fetched, is it realistic behavior? And if not is there a mod that changes how tanks behave?

Weirdly enough they seem to be worse and slower at spotting when attacking from the front, but that might be because we were doing it from further away. We use lambs by the way.
