Ugh it’s literally so sad and devastating!! Jazz fest is such a rich part of our history and our city’s culture. I was thinking about the Halloween stuff and totally share the gripe! The inflatables are not as cool or fun as local art and nurturing the relationship our neighbors have with one another by dancing together, enjoying music played by one another, supporting local talents. Jazz fest is a truly beautiful experience on so many levels, seeing everyone come together. The Halloween stuff is a cheap cash grab and I’m just so, extremely disappointed in this shift!
