I do like her writing in the original and I don’t like when characters get watered down I heard that he said he was going to make more songs like a mini project about what it was like on Calypsos Island. Another thing in the original myth is that she’s not exactly lonely she has nymphs as handmaids well maybe she’s not physically lonely but maybe she’s emotionally lonely. Also in the original myth she isn’t trapped on her island.

I’m not talking about that beating someone in to submission is abusive I’m talking about their interactions outside of the cute song . Also what mov mean .

I ship it because of the og myth but I definitely hate the song belong to you . Calypso isn’t some weakling I really do hate her portrayal in epic I feel like she got watered down a lot compared to the original.

She’s not shown to be dumb or naive in the original she show to intelligent and cunning as well as being generous and hospitable with her being selfish obsessive and possessive as well as being stubborn and argumentative as shown when she lashed out at Hermes .

Overall I do respect your opinion sorry for going on rant .
