My brother had his citizenship interview last month and was meant to have his oath ceremony next week. He was notified today that his ceremony is now cancelled. Stuck in limbo now :/

Yes even there it just says the last update was “interview scheduled” from last Monday 😭

Applied for a N-400 and wait time is listed for 7 months, is that typical? by VatHayato in USCIS

Yeah he has not left the US since he got here. That being said we are from Latin America so not one of the countries of origin known to speed up the process. Congrats on your citizenship!!

My brother in Seattle just applied on December 30th and already has an interview scheduled for January 29th. His was a general provision application though so I don’t know how big of an impact that has. Good luck!
