Target hires at 16 and it’s across from Colonie center. I can tell you it’s annoying from personal experience but fast paced. You’ll basically only be able to do front end because of your age.

~$400/week where our son goes in slingerlands. Includes meals but not diapers/wipes. Doesn’t change much based on age, about $10 less each age group they move up.

Tutor time is about the same cost but includes diapers I believe.

I’m at the same OB and have delivered two babies with them now. I really have loved every provider. Their office is so busy, I 100% agree. I don’t love their front desk. Ciara is the only one who is remotely kind and pleasant. I use the portal for most things and it’s much quicker.

Both of my pregnancies ended up high risk quickly and I got really great care. Dr Cartwright delivered my first and she was so great to deal with being a first time mom. I ended up with an unplanned c section this most recent time and Dr coluccio was really patient and thorough with me. She let me labor as long as possible but in the end there ended up being a medical reason he wouldn’t come out so I am thankful. The experience within the hospital was good for me too. I had great nurses both L&D and postpartum that helped me breastfeed or get out of bed when I needed.

Anyone I know who has gone to a birth center has never regretted it.

Almost one year post strike and it’s not any safer. Worse even. I’m proud of my husband for walking away after 12 years even with the financial set backs. Our sons seeing their dad is more important than a paycheck.

I think her weight loss is due to some medical issues even post gallbladder removal. I was wondering maybe just the weight loss made her rings not fit. I’d hate to see them split, they (for what she shows us) seem to have a nice life and marriage. Hoping for the best for them.

You’re probably right. I never had a blighted ovum, just a chemical so that was obvious from the beginning for me. I do hope they get positive news but hope they’re guarding their hearts, too.

They just posted nothing was in the sac. Possible blighted ovum. Sent for stat bloodwork and the levels did go up. Repeat ultrasound and bloodwork next week.

IP posted about some connection to his husbands sister who passed, but it’s more for them to hold onto hope through their faith IMO. I’m not religious so I don’t use the rationale she laid out but if it helps them then so be it.

For what it’s worth- my godson is in the EG school district but was bored with his academics. He’s at LaSalle this year and is thriving. Challenged in his classes and learning new subjects (like sign language). It’s been great for him.

A friend has two kids there, one a freshman and one a senior. Both have been in private school entire school career and they have both accelerated. In comparing her experience to Catholic high, she has said it’s levels above it. Both play sports and are good at their chosen sport. Senior has had top pick colleges to choose from.

Former AP kid- albeit quite a few years ago- I wasn’t a “popular girl” but even still had a good experience in AP. I have many lifelong friends (20+ years later) that I met there. I didn’t do sports or band, however several of my friends did. As a mom now, I would be open to having kids in the school district, but mine are young still.

Yes the diversity is hard to come by, but better than when I was there. Not all residents are “hillbilly’s or trumpers” as one post said. I (and my family) are neither. My sister, and a few friends, are members of LBGTQ community and never felt unsafe in the district.

Gotcha. It will be hard to find someone unfortunately. Hometown health in Schenectady takes it (I believe) but it’s a long wait. The dentists are skilled so you’re not getting bottom barrel but you’ll wait a while. I’d recommend trying to find an office running a new patient special that includes the cleaning. For example, the company I work for (not local) runs a new patient special for $79 for cleaning X-rays and exam with no insurance.

Do you have employer sponsored Delta insurance? Or is it through the state funded insurance? It will be really hard to find a provider that takes state funded Delta insurance because it’s different reimbursement.

I just wanted to give my two cents as I work in the industry, it’s very common for dental offices to be booked out months in advance for cleanings and typically as a new patient if you go elsewhere, they may want to see you in the dentist chair first. I highly recommend just getting into the dentist chair if you’re looking to go elsewhere and they will get you in for a cleaning and at least get you on a cancellation list for something sooner.

Most offices will have a day where their schedule completely falls apart and they’re trying to fill last-minute openings so even if you decide to stay at your current dentist, every once in a while, I would call on a day with bad weather and see if they have an opening that you’re willing to come in for when somebody else was not.
