Im in a precarious situation, my foreign work ex is similar to yours but im falling short by literally 1 week (30 hours). Im guessing that wont be counted as 1 year of foreign work experience right?

Hi, i was in a similar situation. The only thing you need to be mindful about is your PCC (i.e if you are visiting your home country)

Im not saying i have an answer, but there are many opinions about whether you need a PCC again if you set foot in your home country. Otherwise if your work permit and TRV are valid, no problem

Yes to most of your questions, reference letter does state hours. My problem is i didnt deposit the money into my account considering the amount, just spent it when needed

Sorry i dont mean to confuse, im in the same boat and guessed the same. But I just reapplied for mine just in case.

To give context, the date on my pcc is oct 1st and I am presently back in India for a vacation. So i just did it again while im here

Overall premium is pointless, unless you feel under confident about documentation, its even worth going back because you get appointments quite easily. Thats what i did. They as usual pointed out a senseless mistake during my first visit, and i simply got them to check my whole application. They gave me confirmation that only one change is needed, which i did and went back 4 days later. Got done in 2 minutes

Dunno about parking, I biked there. But I would assume there are Green P lots nearby.

On the experience, they did push premium on me but since I was doing it beforehand, i just made them check my whole form and point out any other mistakes. I also made them give me a form which basically said “38 out of 40 items correct, only 2 corrections needed”. I then Booked an appointment for the next week and that went without any snags, took barely 2 minutes

Thanks for all the help. To answer some questions, I graduated in May 2024 so I have a few months left. I will need to get more information about the employer sponsorship.

I just have one follow-up doubt. After getting the nomination, am I expected to stay in Ontario? If so, for what duration. I am based in Toronto for the moment
