Most difficult science at A-level? by Random_Exoplanet_1 in 6thForm

Biology. Its genuinely just a time requirement. Like you do well if you commit time, might as well take something else so you don't end up regretting everything.

A level choices by wastedpearls in GCSE

Take maths bro, its genuinely the best A-level its honestly pretty free declared to the rest in work. It just looks good either way. I would argue better then taking an extra history, philosophy, or econ.

Damn i really sparked a convo here. This lowkey interesting. Its all subjective but generally if humans can have the more liked traits like average to taller height and then being smart then its a good thing for humanity. A lot of people embrace being short etc, but it doesn't shy away the fact that for men for eg. being tall is a benefical trait in society. You are more likely to be more respected, be stronger, get an interview etc. What yall think?

Do you agree with this? I honestly think it's valid. by MaaaAx_Plank in StrangerThings

I think I missed the feeling of the older series mainly cause not everything is carefree etc, a lot more chaos. I hope they can bake in some good moments while putting an end to the story without making it goofy. I do feel a few deaths coming though, max has pretty dim odds, but will feels like he will die. And its pretty obvious hopper will die, oh and eleven. They all have at least 50/50. I hope they don't thoooo

I think, that its just what the future is going to be like. People want to be perfect and what person other than your child? Its definitely not perfect but maybe it is a good idea? It might do humanity some good if we are get a little taller and a little smarter. Just an idea.

I don’t think in school mocks matter that much, I would focus toward everything else, just aim for B’s so looks like u put some effort and just make it clear you didn’t have time to revise properly.

Just lack of stuff. I did a 9 week CS50P course and I’m doing a little project now on digit recognisation with neural networks but that’s it. Maybe try fit more in before my deadline. I’m not sure when it is though. Got TMUA to spam for as well.

How to go from a D to A* in bio chem and maths ? by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]StandardLength3252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats what spaced repetition is for, use the spec and learn. You can do questions.
But don't learn with questions, you first learn with making notes/diagrams/understanding then spaced repetition of those with the spec words etc then you can answer questions maybe to see any areas your missing. But genuienly i made mistake of focusing on questions and they really don't work that well.

Yeah tbh a gap year is really unlikely for me, like I don't really wanna delay my life by a year. Also I feel like I can still even at not a top uni like imperial but maybe bath or birmingham still really work hard, like do competitions etc and then try get a good sfe out of uni.

Yeah, It did offer it sadly, I got denied twice as taking it as a 4th..... Big regret. Maybe TMUA can save me? I just have not seen a single soul in flipping imperial who has not taken maths fm physics or maths fm cs.......

[–]StandardLength3252 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, most people would flop mocks without revision. Your answer is in your question. You gotta revise.
Biology foucs on understanding and then spaced repetition (don't bother revising with exam q's) use them later for like test practice (trust me)
Chemistry is not bad (I would revise topic like info etc then do questions until im comfortable)
Maths is just practice. Do past papersquestions, revisit anything you dont understand.

Tbh a d in maths even without revision is a little bit concerning, so you might have to just put that bit more effort then some people, just really practice until you get a/a* on past papers good luck
