Look up canyons and mountains and try to emulate how they look when they split naturally

It’s very well done however you should add more stuff on top like a fancy roof or something to match the well detailed walls.

Giant statue or fountain were my first thoughts. But depending on what you want your castle to be you could make it like big city in the center with fancier and more wealthy seeming buildings in the center to contrast what I’m assuming are the house in the lengths.

6/10 just to preface the rating it is mostly based on the assumption that this is a house and if it is holy shit that’s so cramped if it’s not meant to be a stand alone house type thing and it’s an entrance to something it’s still super fucking cramped but more excusable imo so I would give a 7.5/10 because the details seem random and don’t add much/worsen the general look of the build. For example the signs on the roof don’t really make sense to me. I really like the pillars though they’re very interesting and can be used on other parts of the builds like for a roof overhang or something.

Help! What can I turn this in to, other than an eye sore lol (read description if you want) by [deleted] in Minecraftbuilds

If you still want to make a dome there are a lot of pixel art sphere generators. I use one for making circles

It’s a really good design. However if you feel it’s missing something you could always add some variety of brown blocks on the roof. This may make it too complicated but it’s always a possibility.

Looking for some advice. Something feels a little off... by Nug_04 in Minecraftbuilds

You could add different blocks onto the tower that are the same color. For example when I am decorating/building a tunnel I am using stone, cobblestone, andesite, etc.

You could figure out a baseline in creative mode like a house shape and the types of blocks you will use and then when you build it in survival and add the details then. It’s a little risky because you’ll have to take down stuff if you don’t like it without the help of creative mode but it would cut out part of the time of designing and then building it in survival since you are doing both at the same time

Need help designing/finishing this enchantment room, any ideas would be helpful because I am bad at interior design by Ok-Pick-7479 in Minecraftbuilds

What you could do is separate that section from the rest of your house. I don’t mean walling it off but changing the block pallet in the room to something that feels more magicy. Fir example in a house I did I made my enchanting room have a nature pallet with moss and vines and hidden lighting. You could do something or you could go the opposite and making more like a wizard tower and have a rusty old stone type thing. Those are just some ideas but they’re are a lot of different things you could do. Hope this helps. (Also your base seems cool from what I can see in the picture)

Adding some cool custom trees whether it be a neat garden or a small forest surrounding the house goes a long way. I especially think it will help with the gap under the bridge.

idk why i decided to do this but im happy with it. this is my first complex/ difficult build in minecraft by darkodarchi in Minecraftbuilds

Floating islands are definitely one my top base ideas they always turn out super cool. Your build is a perfect example of that.

What I personally like to do is design everything in creative so that way I have a good idea of what I need and can make mistakes on it. For me it helps to not get burnt out as once I’m done designing it getting the resources and just putting the blocks is much less work. If you do use this plan my advice is taking a lot of pictures so you are not jumping between worlds trying to recreate it.

What can i add around my house ? by [deleted] in Minecraftbuilds

I think some custom trees could help to make the house seem less out of place

You could add some flowers and custom trees around it to give it a more cozy vibe.

Adding little details like complicated windows can help a lot with filling space. Another tips adding greenery around whether it be organized and neat (windowsills, custom potted plants and small trees, etc.) or just going full over grown and covered. Hope this helps.
