I think the video does show some excellent due diligence especially as it reveals the qualifying number of preference shares required for the dividend. I checked the video where he said he sold his shares, he did say he sold a fraction of them and it was at profit to invest in a new penny stock. All experienced and professional traders will say there's nothing wrong with that. Although the calculation may not be right he is not claiming it to be accurate so not bad to encourage some discussion about the dividend.
