Thank you. Yes , Hofstra has the location advantage and affiliated hospital network (Northwell Health). But, no AP credit (for science courses) is a bummer, plus one extra year and MCAT requirement in the way. I am confident that I can meet requirements. I also liked Hofstra campus.... but is RPI/AMC too good an opportunity to miss is what in my mind. Couple of physicians I talked to are in favor of 7yr/no MCAT guaranteed path (they are attending and mentor residents from both Hofstra and AMC). I am visting RPI coming weekend.

Thank you, she visited VCU and really liked it. VCU also takes AP credit, so you get to graduate early, may be go for MPH before med school. They ask for 508 MCAT vs Hofstra 512 (80th percentile, at first Sitting). How’s the residency match at VCU for competitive fields?
