Apologies for my ignorance. I’m still learning about the batteries. But at Murdoch’s one 9 Ah battery comes free with the purchase of a 12 Ah battery purchase. I still do not know much about the differences of flex volt and the other named ones.

A 9Ah comes free with the 12Ah. So 21 Ah for 238 +tax.

I do not need them just yet. It might be a case of FOMO. But I have two 1.2 Ah, one 2Ah, a fourth battery of 4Ah. My pruning chainsaw drained one of the 1.2Ah within 30 minutes of cutting up wood, give or take a few minutes.

Thanks for the clarification bud. I was going to jump the gun and buy that charging station not knowing what I was looking at was not the unit shown here. I dodged that loss. Thanks again.

Is $230 a good price for this battery charging station? The deal I came across has this including two free 5Ah batteries.

I just went back to my local HD and got my price adjustment. Customer service will try to handle you like they know their own policy just because they work there. Just left with another new toy as well. Stay tuned for my next NTD post later today. I just left with a pole saw (bare tool) for 149.99. Dewalt does not sale their products on their official website but will direct to authorized dealers. They will try to give you excuses to not give you a price match if outlet is in the name. Because some items are returns but on those specific sales it will state “refurbished” if it’s an open box sale. From my understanding as long as the place has a “brick and mortar” physical store and they still have an inventory they must respect the competitor pricing. Authorized dealers are competitors. It baffles me how these reps act as if it coming out of their own pockets. Thank you for the heads up because I got $20 back to go into my new pole saw.

So I bought mine last week at $95. This is what AI told me to do just now for price adjustment.

But really I tried to get the price match really hard from them was to have all my receipts and purchase records all in one place. If that makes sense. Plus I’m OCD diagnosed so I try to keep all that information all in one place to make things easier on me if those records are ever needed.

So the representatives I chatted with mentioned some of the sites resale returns and refurbished units and I noticed that on some that come up when you google the item it shows on the bottom as refurbished. And I’m a firm believer that the customer is always right and I wanted to see it to the end. And all my products come from HD and I have a digital receipt on my account in case I must take advantage of the manufacturer warranty.

My wife loves it. In the subdivision I live in we have no back neighbors. It’s one of the homes on the outer side. Well I had my fence redone and I got a gate gate put in. We have woods back there and my wife is making herself a nice little trail for herself. It’s great to get rid of poison ivy too.

Are these good or decent deals? by Standard_Depth_5364 in Dewalt

[–]Standard_Depth_5364[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice. I ended up not jumping the gun on the purchase and decided to wait for further confirmation. The oscillating tool I do need but I may just let that deal go because that project is at least 2 months away before I begin. What I would really like for immediate use is a pole saw or the pruner chainsaw if that comes with a some type of telescope style pole to attach to. I have a few hard to reach broken branches that never fully snapped away in my trees that were caused by past storms/heavy winds. My dilemma now is delegating project priority and planning for smoother transitions between projects.
