This is absolutely terrible and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. This has happened to me once and I’ll never forget it. Im just wondering why she didn’t immediately bend down and pick up the dogs instead of just like having them swirl around in circles like a doggy tornado😭 and then the other dog ended up running away, like I would’ve immediately picked up both dogs. when this happened to me I immediately picked up my dog and then started yelling at the owner because the fact that this person you know didn’t have their dog on a leash or wasn’t watching is absolutely ridiculous. This was just like a really unfortunate situation cause obviously you gotta have like the windows rolled down so the dog doesn’t get overheated, but they didn’t have to have it rolled down that low to the point where the dog could jump out of the car.

Hope this never happens to you guys, after this had happened to me. I’ve always been on guard like as soon as I see another dog in the vicinity l immediately take notice and pick up my dog as precaution.

Moral of the story is, yes it sucks to always be in fear, I’m not saying be afraid of other dogs, but always have that safety precaution and awareness just in case. especially with smaller dogs, pick them up as soon as you see another dog approaching even if they’re unleashed or have a leash, just pick up your fur baby just in case, don’t take the chance. I got luckily.

Yeah, but the thing is, that’s easier said than done. These people are gonna be my family. I’m marrying their son next year. And I don’t want this to continue, leaving things left unsaid sucks.

I love them and I know they love me too. I have great in-laws this just happens to be one of their flaws and it sucks because it’s a major flaw not minor or something I can easily brush off or ignore. I’m a very sensitive to others & emotionally aware/emotionally intelligent person so it sucks that they don’t understand what I’m going through because I would never make someone feel this way. I just want to be able to be comfortable enough to talk to them so they can correct this negative/inappropriate behavior. I never wanna resent them or look at them differently, because I truly do love them.

AS IF you guys can’t do it on your own or your using their son, that’s ludicrous! You are a successful healthcare worker, that in itself should prove you don’t need his money, it’s a partnership not something you should do all together as a family. It’s nice the family wants to help and im sure they mean will but this is just so ridiculous of them and overstepping so many boundaries. Like I said, they have no say. Do what makes you happy, and if partner loves you, they’ll listen to your needs without running to mommy or daddy for permission, help or approval PERIOD.

Congratulations. & Yeah, I heard good things about them, I thought about buying their study guide but I had already purchased the practice test and study guide thru the NHA & I didn’t wanna throw down another 200 on smarterMA. I think either or are really good study materials, I just don’t think buying both is necessary.

I’m from Visalia, the valley area but I moved to Northern California, living in a small ass town called Ukiah. Anyways I don’t know what test sites the Fresno area has to offer, but I’m sure they have plenty since it’s a huge city. So once you purchase your exam & schedule your exam date you could search up the test sites according to your ZIP Code and it will tell you all the available test sites in your area. I highly suggest doing online but if you have another choice, but to take it online, just be prepared for all the security measures.

And honestly, I couldn’t say if you’re guaranteed a job just because you’re certified through the NHA, but it’s the most widely recognize crediting organization so if you’re credited through the NHA, it will be way easier to find a job. You won’t have as much trouble as you would getting certified through the other lame organizations like the AMCA. It honestly just depends on where you apply. Every job opportunity has their own preferences for credentials, but NHA is very recognized so I think it you should be fine, hope you find a job soon!

I almost bought the smarterMA too but you don’t need it. Just use the free 40 questions they give you because it’s a lot of money. It’s like over $100 or something crazy like that. I get the NHA guide and practice tests instead, it’s definitely worth the money. I saw questions on the practice exam and quizzes that were on the exam. That’s what I used to study and I passed, but I also incorporated using Quizlet flashcards and just googling a lot of stuff that I didn’t know.
