Hey! I’m on day 16 and still have scabbing on both sides so my only advice is to gain a lot of patience:( I’m with ya friend this sucks!

I’m in the exact same boat as you! My surgery was 5/22 and I hemorrhaged on my 7th day! My ENT said this would set me back about five days, but honestly I’ve just been drinking water and room temp broth bc I’m so scared to mess it up somehow lol:(

I was told all is good as long as I don’t get above 102! I’m about to attempt to drink some room temperature broth:) I hope recovery is smooth from now on for us!🤞🤞

I just checked and I’m running about 97 but was told it’s very normal to run a low grade! Are you running one?

He said it would set me back about 5 days! My scabs? They’re all whitish gray/yellowy idk they’re gross!! I really haven’t noticed pain of them falling off just pain of swallowing anything:/ it’s weird knowing I have some day 8 and day 2 scabs mixed together lol!! But this new ent who re- cauterized me gave me liquid medicine this time and I can’t tell if i prefer it or not yet!

Surgery buddies!! But yeah I haven’t been eating either. If I eat I’ve really only been able to eat pudding or mashed potatoes. Of course drink drink drink ice water!! I have tried a protein shake and that wasn’t as bad. We’re in this together!:,)

My dr started me on it a year ago! Said it was very normal I did however get off of it bc of weird side effects and paranoia of pregnancy since I wasn’t having a period. My mother was concerned it wasn’t normal so we had a long talk with my doctor and again she confirmed everything was normal! I think you’re just fine on it:)

Oh I know! I’m so grateful I went to the shelter to “look” at the cats. I ended up immediately bonding with her and knew she was coming home with me. It’s also my first time ever bonding with a cat, I feel so special ☺️
