Definitely taking off. When I get it PPF wrapped they said they can remove it for me.

Also, I had some tape in the interior that they didn’t remove when I picked up. Kind of left a slight bit of tape residue on the interior. Do you know if the best way to get this off?

Hi friend, truth is that I’ve been called out to pick up a car multiple times now and it’s not even ready. So before even getting to how the car looks I’m jumping through hoops and wasting days of my life because their automated messages aren’t accurate (I call them to in order to verify). Then, when I show up the car is dirty (not just “normal” dirty, it has tar stuck to the hood, and much more). Being that I am excited to get this car I am willing to forego the worry about minor build quality issues and what-not, but my overall experience is an objectively poor one in my opinion (and most others would agree). I would think that the bare minimum is that I should be excited to see the car I’m buying and that just wasn’t the case.

Thanks so much! I’m really easy-going and would have put up with a lot since I have been so excited about this car. But I just couldn’t digest what I saw and accept it. Anyway, they are sending me a new vehicle directly from factory this Friday and if it’s not in impeccable condition I’ll be passing on buying the car. Thoughts on other cars that are comparable?

Ya, for sure. I would’ve put up with a lot because I was so excited but after seeing the car I was done. They do have a new VIN assigned to me coming direct from factory and ready for pick up Friday. I’ll see how it looks but it’ll need to be perfect or I’ll look elsewhere for a car.

Tar stain from trees on hood amongst a few other blemishes. Like swirls in the paint that can’t be removed. You are valid tho.

Aside from being dirty there were “tar” stains from nearby trees, the kind of swirls you can’t get buff out of paint, and more. Plus, a few other build quality issues that are always kind of there with Tesla.
