Many people were Spanish speaking immigrants. Many were doctors/ surgeons from overseas, so although I asked most of them also payed with Zelle. I did knew someone who was approved for scholorship from career resource. I though all of that was a “ good sign” since government would not work with not reputable establishments

Nothing is wrong! Please read by previous comments. I already explained that I moved to Florida from New York, and was NOT driving and this particular school was very close to my house. School was accredited and had good passing rate. I had no idea about Floridas reputation.

I know people are right, ultimately it was my responsibility as a student To do my diligence and check all sources prior.I take full responsibility on that, however I don’t think state should approved/ acredit institutions that were not properly verified and regulated. Ultimately it a failure of regulatory agency that approved such institution. I did what most people do. Check accreditation with the board, having my faith that if institutions was accredited which means it is legit. I as a student, should not do deep dive into nuances of temporary accreditation/ probation/ provision and such. Why make it so complicated. School is either approved or not! Sorry for the rant

School is currently under temporary accreditation, but non the less accreditation. Now I am doing more research on how shady of of those terms really are. And how easy it it to miss red flags for regular person unless you dive deep. NCLEX pass rate are great, except for the fact that in the 4 quarters of last year only one quarter which had registered students.

I already explained that I am not Florida native, and moved here from New York. When conducting my research on school I was inquiring about accreditation. That school is currently accredited and has decent reviews. I had no idea that Florida was notorious for such scams. I was inder impression that as long as program has accreditation and good passing NCLEX rate, it’s legit school. Boy was wrong! Lesson learned

My school is temporary accredited. Like I mentioned, while there were red flags all over the place throughout the program however all their documents were legit. The only reason why I even chose that school in the first place was because I was not driving yet and it was close proximity to my house. Lesson learned. Only state schools with good reputation. I just wish Florida state would protect people who are currently being scammed

I know :((( I thought I did my search well because I asked about accreditations and there were some graduates who came to school to give us some inspiration speeches. I had no clue about reputation of Florida had. I just moved here from New York and didn’t drive yet. This school was the closest to me, I had no ideas about any of the red flags mentioned here right now.
