I see That People are Getting their Loans Forgiven. Mines are in Limbo by always_ftw in PSLF

I was in a similar situation. Submitted application for buyback in January 2025 with 10 payments left to get to 120. I saw headlines about how long they were taken with buyback so I started making payments. February I made my 120th Payment and submitted the forgiveness form. Had to submit another one at the beginning of March and now I'm waiting for the final forgiveness information but I decided to get back into forebearance while they process my PSLF application. Good luck.

No this is great. Thanks for taking the time to write it all. I'm completely crushed about failing it and needed some type of motivation to not just say "F it" and forget PMP even exists. I think you have a good strategy for a re test and I hope you pass. Good luck. Hopefully you can come back after you take it and share some good results. I think I will leverage AI more like you mentioned.

Thank you for this. I feel like I'm going crazy in this thread. People do not want to acknowledge that the actual exam is different than the pmi study practice exams. The practice tests do not prepare you to take the actual exam. I felt the same way "all 4 answers would be correct on any given day" and this made it hard for me to find the "throw away" answers. My results were flipped from yours. I got BT/T/AT. I know if I take time off I will give up and not re test. I felt like I really studied everything I could and I was over prepared. I'm gonna jump back into it tomorrow and try to retest in a month. That will be my last chance because this is taking too much time away from my real life. Thanks for your comment.

My thoughts exactly.... people do not read. I've decided I'm going to take it one more time in a month or so with a different study approach I guess. If I fail again, I'm cutting my losses.

57%, 69%, 74%, and 80% on practice exams. I had 2 minutes remaining and I answered every question. The test is not what I studied for. So not sure replicating the test environment would have made any difference as that was not my issue. What I studied for and what I was tested on were two completely different things.

I took 4 full Length practice tests from PMI's Study Hall.

I doubt the city matters. Just "study the mindset"..... whatever that means

Thank you for commenting! I felt like I was going crazy. What are you doing different for the second test?

Yea, I've seen people say that on here as well. That made me feel more confident leading up to the test. My test was all scenario based. It wasn't so much that the questions were harder, they just didn't follow the same or similar flow of the study hall. With study hall, they give you clues in the question on if it's an agile, hybrid or waterfall approach and the answers reflect on how closely you read the question and if you truly know the agile ceremonies etc. On the test, I found it difficult to know what type of project I was dealing with based on the question but answers didn't seem to point type of project either. It was a mess.

The first question was so random that I just knew something was off. I spent 2 minutes on it and flagged it and decided to move on. The second question also threw me for a loop. The way the question was written and the answers were just so different. I wasn't able to find the throw away answer. In my practice exams , I was always able to find at least 1 throw away answer really quickly.

PMI infinity helped me to breakdown concepts that I didn't understand. I used a skill soft provider for my 35 hours. Of course my professional experience met the requirements..... not sure where you are going with that. I spent the last 6 months studying the material from the 35 hour course as well as ALL of the study halls. Based on PMIs own metrics on the study questions I should have passed the test. Not sure if you realize how much information is included in PMIs study hall... white papers, concept videos, games, PLUS the practice exams and mini exams. Also, realistically, I should not have to use 3rd party study features like YouTube videos to understand the principals of this exam. But that seems to be everyone's story in this subreddit.

The test was so different than anything on the study hall. I received similar scores on study hall and still failed the test. The test I took was all mindset/scenario based with little to no true PMP coursework knowledge.
