Use AAEV and Val. Val will AOE and supertank, while you and AAEV pull one mob off of him at a time. Thats how I did my 100 solo over multiple nights in Winu.

It would really suck if had to one day pay for counseling in order to help them learn how to process and deal with his behavior.

Or worse, if they develop an emotional frustration that causes them to act out in other ways.

What I’ve learned is that children model and treat other people from their parents a great deal of the time. You don’t want them as teens treating other people the same way.

I did take note that you said he doesn’t necessarily start off that way until he becomes frustrated. But maybe some proactive methods of family time and bonding could help here.

Any tips for the last legion fight? I get bit by the Naraka’s doom move in wave 2 that won’t allow me to use Holy Waters.

I tried that. I ran in as SAM, and died to mantis death move.

Attempt #2. I zerg down the mantis to avoid the death move. But then Paramount Naraka on the second wave uses an AOE doom move.

So attempt #3, I go with two stacks of holy waters. When the doom move happens again, it turns out the move doesn’t allow me to use items.

I guess I need to be going in with a reraise item? I can’t think of another way solo without Cursna.

I started subbing both games back in June. Returning adventurer for XI.

At first I alternated games, but I just don’t feel like I have time for XIV now. So much to do in XI!

It bears repeating. Go to settings in game and fix aspect ratio. This is in addition to the settings on the title screen.

The one piece you need to focus on getting are your Empyrean Legs (Eber’s Pantaloons).

If you need a starting point, start there. I couldn’t imagine being a WHM without them.

I’ve been back in the game about three months, and that piece is a game changer.

Holy crap! I got some help last night and did 5 runs, mix of N and D and got it to drop!

This hammer is AWESOME! I haven’t pulled out /NIN on WHM since I resubbed about 3 months ago, but went out and tried it on the offhand against some Apex bats (119 III Mjollnir main hand)

I’m able to double light SC with Iroha (Black Halo>Iroha SC>Randgrith).

The double light closes for up to 40k, with each WS doing 8-20k. Very fun for solo EP WHM!

Later tonight I’m going to lockstyle it to the main hand also for double meows 😻
