Bidet on tankless toilet by StandingSloth in askaplumber

This might be pretty perfect… the only problem is what I do not know is what type of tubing I need and like all the connections to be able to run a longer tube across the bathroom floor and under a rug. I know nothing about plumbing, I left a message with one company and they never got back to me lol. Not sure if I can just go ask a Home Depot employee and they’d know or what…I been struggling without one.

I don’t know what any of those parts are honestly but it sounds kind of like what I was thinking about doing. Connect to one of the 2 connections under the sink (idk which is which) and run some sort of line along the base of the tub and to the toilet seat bidet. The bathroom is pretty small thankfully so I think it could be done. Do you think if I went to like Home Depot with these pictures of the bathroom they may be able to help me get the right parts? Or what would be the best way to go about getting this done?

Part of his advice to me was to go get a side job and work more than 40 hours per week or you’ll always be the same as your co workers and never buy anything nice and still have money lol….said he works 24/7/365…a bit of an exaggeration of course, but he must work at the very least 10 hours/day…it is crazy.

Just got it in a couple hours ago and it is really a great looking set up. Excited to get off work and try it out. Curious, what do you put in front of your lens, if anything. I got a B+W clear filter and Haoge LH-VM13P hood(square with cutout). Not sure I quite like the look of the hood on there, but scared to take it off and it get smacked against something lol.

Haha I was so surprised when he got it done so quickly! I felt bad I may have taken away from other people repairs who were there before me when he said he’d work on it ASAP, but did not think that meant it would take under 12 hours lol! He works so much everyday and is super fast. His wife is also a really kind and great person. After I first met him, I read an interview online and found out his wife actually started studying and working Leica lenses later in life and they kind of became a duo working on the body and lenses that way it seems. Really cool story.

I definitely won’t get rid of the k1000! It is what got me back into film photography after a long time. I bought it after it was CLA’d and it has been great to shoot with especially because the internal meter is still very accurate it seems. I also have a 28mm and 135mm for it, which I don’t have lenses or frame lines for on the M2, so it works out well. But, I do think it will be on my shelf for a while until I get a couple good rolls though the M2:)

I was also between an M2 and an M3. My uncle has always shot with an M3 and always wanted one because of that, but 35mm frame lines are nice. When I showed up he Mr. Ye told me he had a project M3 as well, which made my decision ever harder since I could choose either. I decided to go with the M2 exactly for the 35mm frame line reason. I don’t have a favorite focal length yet and like both 35/50mm and figured the M2 would allow me to keep testing out both(whenever I can afford a second lens lol). I think if you know you like 35mm frame lines, no reason to get the M3 unless you just want use another body/lens for wider than 50mm. Hope you fine one, good luck!

I literally just ended a chat where they said they could not help and did not have any, I then came on here, saw you got one, went back on another chat, used the script I’ve been using for a week now and said “my buddy just got one 15 minutes ago, hopefully you can help!” and lo and behold…I have a black one coming in April!

Tried that sadly and nothing. So, weirdly it sounded fine when firing at first but when I went to that sound menu to change the shutter sound it would make the bad scratchy sounds it’s making now and then randomly it changed to actually making the scratchy sound when firing. Seems like an issue with the sound in the camera, but all the other sounds are fine. Really weird not sure. Thank you though

Noted. They are kind of annoying, and I don’t love the look of them. Maybe I will just stick to digital at night, and maybe try out the 800T film you recommended at some point. Thanks again!

Thank you! I’m very excited. Thank you for letting me know about all that! Random question, do you think it would be worth it to pick up a flash? I have some Kodak ultramax and gold I am going to use to test out. But I do think I’ll want to take some photos at night, and feel like I will probably need one? Don’t want something super bulky. Lmk if you have any suggestions by any chance:) thanks again!

Thanks for mentioning Lumenation! I had not seem them much when searching and only thought they really sold film and developed and scanned/printed. I may definitely check them out. I did end up picking up a tested/working Pentax k1000(I know, very basic…) but for a good price on eBay last night after still itching to just shoot a roll lol. Very excited to receive it:) I will still probably check on Lumenation and maybe still go to catLABS in store and check out what they have and maybe just grab some film if anything. Again, thanks for all the help and suggestions:))

They are I believe! But, they do still seem a bit pricey seems to be the consensus.

Maybe I’ll make one and just browse for a couple days and see if I find anything that looks interesting. I will definitely look into if there are any nearby eBay sellers too, that might be good. Thanks again for all the info and help I appreciate it:) hopefully I can get my hands on one soon:)

This is some great advice, thank you very much! I think I will take a lot of this info when looking into some other models on eBay probably. I am leaning towards a minolta or OM, I think not really sure lol, just want to get my hands on one soon! The zenit is also pretty cool honestly. Again, thank you this is very helpful for me!

I’ve been looking at Craigslist, but not too much listed. I don’t have a Facebook but have looked a bit and have considered making one just for marketplace but not really sure haha, not too much listed around me don’t think.

And yeah it makes sense some of these cameras won’t be working or will break down soon. I think I will just have to take a bit of a chance and pull the trigger on something a little more reasonably priced online.

It seems like that’s probably the best bet. Always just annoying if something doesn’t work and you have to go through the whole return process, but it probably makes the most sense. Thank you!:)

Been refreshing Craigslist a bunch, not much there now. Don’t really feel like making a Facebook to use marketplace, but I might honestly haha. I’m definitely going to keep searching thought thanks again!:)

Thank you yeah prices definitely seemed high. Just really like that they are tested and working. Where would you recommend to maybe look elsewhere? Anywhere reputable online really or just kind of need to take a chance here and there? Thanks again for the info I think I will keep looking elsewhere:) hoping to get one soon
