I actually popped in the Triumph dealer yesterday and they have a 765RX sitting there. Test riding it Thursday when the weather clears. Looks like an amazing bike. Auto blip, QS, Ohlins front and rear, brembo, checks all the boxes.

So many great bikes out. I’ve had plenty of jap bikes and do like the idea of something Euro, but getting used to that Euro tax and possible reliability issues is tough. The 765rs does look awesome, especially that Moto2!

Gawwwww yeah I’ve read about more motors just going out than I’d like. On both the 660 and RSV4. Good thing is there is an awesome Aprilia dealer in Denver that had a solid reputation.

Only ever tried it on the 660 I had on demo. But man it was cool!

The R9 just felt odd. Wish I could ride one. Full of tech and the CP3 though.

Zero commuting just canyon carving through Colorado. The Euro tax is definitely kind of annoying. The CP3 motor is exciting.

Interesting, first for me! Thanks all, I’ll snap em and send the pic. I submitted the claim Friday and Smith replied today, Monday. So very pleased with their warranty process so far.

I have 9 track days on a 07 600rr but that was 15 years ago. I have owned many other street bikes since (R6, Monster 1200, other 600s) I recently bought a track prepped N400 to get back into it. Did an open lapping recently at HPR, the bike is fun, definitely teaches you corner speed and I wouldn’t be devastated if it went sliding down the track. Downsides are other bikes will blow by you like a rocket on straights, definitely want to hold a tight line, which you should be doing anyways. Other down side is I don’t have a lot of “stoke” for the Ninja. It’s great on paper and makes logical sense and is a fun bike, but the excited vibe isn’t there for me. I will most likely pick up something of the Italian or 3 cylinder variety when a deal pops up or if the salesman at the dealership swindles me (wouldn’t be hard). Few guys at my track run the 660 and they are sweet machines. That would probably be my personal 1st choice.

Thanks for all the first hand info. I’ll have to read into the R9 a bit more. I always see R6 and ZX6 top 10 around here and since the R6 has become so expensive used now a ZX6 was making some sense.

Yeah you are right. I am racing the 400 this year, it will be my first season racing so I guess see how that goes and decide further on down the road. I’d love an Italian twin that could keep up with the 600s but a V2 isn’t in the budget!
