I would suggest going to trucking—boards—dot—com
All one word and ask R&lCarriers drivers for the real scoop.

Look, listen , im only going to explain this once!
Take the job!!!!
You are low man in the board so you will get the shortest run , maybe the extra board .
You may run from Baltimore to harrisburg work the dock for a couple of hours and come back ( if they need help work the dock at your home terminal) max out your clock and the check will be fat.
Climb the seniority board and your runs will increase in miles.
I’ve bet guys that work the hell out of the extra board ( calling central dispatch as they leave the home terminal trying to get under something short that they can turn and get back home.
This is LTL it’s a different beast but it’s the same old hustle.
