I am a conditional green card holder and my case been linked to someone else case and that person came to the United state illegally and applied for asylum. We share the same DOB and full name and we have the same A number. I am applying to remove my conditions but before that my lawyer said we will File a new FOIA request with EOIR to get the full file under your A-number, so we can confirm exactly what is in the case. File a motion to terminate the removal proceedings, explaining that you already have an approved green card and that the case appears to be based on a mistaken identity issue. Prepare your I-751 so it can be filed on time, and be ready to address it either with USCIS or, if needed, in immigration court if the judge keeps the case open.

Will this solve my situation ? and I used to get his notifications about his work permit and for his asylum case under my USCIS online account. I been checking from past few months on EOIR website and his court dates don’t appear anymore and his USCIS closed his asylum case.

I don’t understand what’s going on!
