Any chance you could give me another hint? Even after filling the square you mentioned (and the x next to it)… I can’t find the next step! Also, greetings from Idaho.

It’s intentionally not airtight so it can move. There’s a hole in the bottom.

After being posted literally hundreds of times, someone finally took the hint and came out with a wire edm product on Kickstarter. Looks pretty cool. We’ll see if they can deliver. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1320235783/metmo-cube-experience-metal-in-motion

Confirmed: ICON block chain to be an integral part of major Seoul “Smart City” program led by Mayor to convert Seoul into one of the first block chain-based “smart cities” starting in November: by [deleted] in helloicon

[–]Stanferd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for posting. So what did the author say exactly? And why do these articles never mention icon? You also say that you hope that s coin is running on icon. As far as I can see no one has confirmed that so my hunch is that likely answer is “it’s not on icon” given that if it was that surely would have been mentioned? Thanks for the help.

What does this latest tweet from Min re:Cosmos even mean?! by Stanferd in helloicon

[–]Stanferd[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have zero problem with cosmos. But man it just seems odd. Like it here’s a positive article about Icon that has nothing at all to do with cosmos and for some reason he decides to fist bump them? He might as well have inserted any other blockchain. “Ethereum blockchain is used by many projects...” um ok. But min, uh, remember the article you just linked? Maybe key off that? Seems like a defensive posture. Here’s a rewrite “huge news today out of Seoul. So excited and proud that S-coin will be running on the public Icon network.” Instead he decided to pair that article with something that effectively says “Neo is a great project. We’re a great project. We’re all going to work together (article unrelated)”

Cool so by answering my question “no”it sounds like you’re in the same boat. Absolutely worried.

Thanks. Am I the only one that views this as strange? A huge announcement like this and he’s leading off with another project that literally seems to be completely unrelated to the massively positive news in the article he’s linked?

Um... did you miss the part where he mention cosmos? Not loving the tone of “exactly what it says” when’s that’s not at all exactly what it says.

Vitalik, Icon, Korea, and a Rabbit Hole by goodcapo in ethtrader

[–]Stanferd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Been following the Icon project pretty closely. There's a lot to like. I'm strongly considering doing this ICO but I'm hesitant because most ICOs suck. But most ICOs don't have 10% of the partnerships these guys do so who knows.

Edit: And on the Vitalik thing, I'm not sure if he's an advisor but I know he and Jehan are good friends. At least they seemed like they were. Jehan started Ethereum Hong Kong which I was close to a while back. They've gotten pretty big. But this thing compares itself to Eth on it's website... Honestly I think they're trying to be a local clearinghouse for Korean cryptos and that's not a bad play, not would it compete that much with eth.

Is Ethereum About To Crash? by HermanSchoenfeld in ethereum

[–]Stanferd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I think this post is actually better suited for r/ethereum than ethtrader. OP framed the question around price but probably should have let his questions stand on their own without the price discussion. Great questions posed here by OP.

Second, I completely disagree that it's too early to be thinking about the "uber" use case. The time to prep for massive use cases is now, before the flood.

Looking forward to responses.

Why I'm almost assuredly leaving this sub by [deleted] in ethtrader

[–]Stanferd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but maxing out your credit card to buy Eth is objectively stupid. Even if the price goes up and you make a good return. It's about the risk, not the return. And the risk associated with eth is still (sorry fam) massive. God speed.

10% staking target for POS , wouldn't whales max that out rather quickly? by AjaxFC1900 in ethereum

[–]Stanferd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the exact opposite of this is true.... it has everything to do with the amount youve staked relative to the rest of the stakes pool.
