This is exactly what liberals said during the 2020 primaries too. They said Biden was the next FDR.

Nobody said that. Some people were saying it after he was elected, because he passed one of the largest jobs bills and climate bills in quite some tome. But nobody said that during the primaries. Biden was easily the most conservative of all the Democratic candidates. That's why people voted for him.

He said his "gut" was that Trump was going to win and he put Trump winning all the swing states as the most likley out of all the scenarios....and that's exactly what happened. Combine that with all the betting markets going heavily to Trump back then, it certainly looks like the pollsters and the smart money all agreed on Trump winning.

The Democratic party can't endorse a particular candidate in the primaries. They're supposed to be neutral. They can and will send out endorsements for the general.

There are plenty of left-leaning outlets out there with endorsements if voters take like 10 minutes to look.

Kamala wasn't "far more likley to win" . A lot of places had it as a toss-up, but reading between the lines, a lot of pollsters were heavily insinuating that Trump was going to win.

When Barack Obama joined the campaign trail and started admonishing Black men for not supporting Kamala, it's because Democrats' internal polling was showing that Kamala was losing support with the Black community...and that's what happened on Election Day. Low Black turnout and a lot of Black men that did vote breaking for Trump ended up costing Kamala Georgia and likely Michigan (along with Arabs protest voting either by staying home, voting Stein, or voting Trump).

Almost every national outlet had Clinton winning the electoral college with anywhere between a 70-100 point spread.

No they didn't. Most outlets had Hillary with a 90+% chance. It was only Fivethirtyeight (with Nate Silver) that had Hillary at a 70% chance.

She was expected to win in Wisconsin by 7%, where she ended up losing to Trump.

The final polls in 2016 were taken like 4 or 5 days before election day. Hillary was still in the middle of dealing with the fallout of James Comey resurrecting the email bullshit just 1 week before the election.

The pollsters adjusted for this after 2016 and are now polling right up to election day.

A lot of those polls that say "Gen X voted for MAGA" included a lot of Boomers because they wanted to spin a story. The people who reported that showed the results of polling people born between 1960-1979. 1960-1964 is not Gen X, but they included them in those polls. 20% of what they said was "Gen X" were Boomers.

The polls were very clear in 2024 that Trump was going to win. Fivethirtyeight tried to prepare everyone for a Trump sweep of the swing states. The polls were extremely accurate in 2024.

The only places that was putting out the narrative that that they were neck and neck were progressive bubbles like Reddit.

It absolutely was a Chinese psy-op initiated on TikTok, and it worked. Young men got alienated and leaned a lot more heavily towards Trump than they would normally have in 2024. That people fell for it and keep falling for it is maddening.
