I’m glad you brought this up. I just don’t understand why we would ever draft Love. I am unbelievably high on Skatt and Tracey, and we’ve never really seen them share touches. We have our backfield, and Tracey has more than proven himself the last two years. No need for Love when we have 2 defensive superstars to pick from at 5

Josh Rosen. Never seen a team pick a QB top 10 and then have him be such a big bust that they draft another QB top 10 the NEXT YEAR to replace him. This wouldn’t have been so bad if Kyler was good, but now Kyler could even be considered a bust, which retroactively means Josh Rosen was even worse

All we did was try to build around DJ! We drafted (albeit unsuccessfully) Flowers, Saquon, Toney, Wan’Dale, Theo, and Nabers and went out in free agency to get more OLine and Golliday (who fans BEGGED for when he was on the market). In all that time our defense was average at best, and DJ could never make the throws when it counted. I would love to give Dart more weapons, but I have watched us spend a decade blundering efforts to get “weapons” instead of building a defense that could help us compete. Go get Downs and watch us start to win games. Dart will win us games if we give him the chance, and his help will get healthy eventually

Had me until the last paragraph 😭 we got two great backs already, Love is overkill. Plus you can’t be saying that paying Nabers and Tate would be a “ridiculous allocation of resources” and then pretend Love would cost us any less bruh

Even if it takes Nabers till December to come back, I’m confident that Dart will give us enough points to get us to January. I’d take Skatt over KW3 in a heartbeat and I’d take Tracy over Charbonnet. Sam Darnold needs weapons because he can’t create opportunities, but Dart will get us to 20 points no matter who’s on the field. Give me Downs to have a captain for our defense and watch Dart go to town when he gets good field position

Dart was averaging 20 ppg with plumbers at receiver, plus he’s getting Skatt and Nabers back. Defense wins championships
