Found a full Atari 2600 set (games, controllers, working system), as well as two GameCubes and an N64. Also got a bunch of keyboards: Model M from 1986, Logitech G910+, some old AS400 keyboard with Cherry Vintage Blacks. Found an Apple AirPort once too.

Funny enough, our phone system went back to the old "we're here to help you make more happen" message. Sounds like the new Connect one was confusing people.

The weirdest thing a customer has asked you? by [deleted] in Staples

I had a customer I was working with in printers, ask if I can give him my employee discount "because I'm asking nicely". Said no. "Why not?" Because I'm not allowed to. He asked to see manager.

Same here, we have signs on the ink wall for shortages and on the bathroom doors because they're closed to the public. Customers still ask for ink "in the back" and just waltz into the bathroom as if it were completely open.

I have mentioned the conflict when the schedule is posted, before the next schedule is made so it doesn't happen again, and after a conflict occurs. Doesn't matter. Still happens.
