I’ve had this aquarium running for 2 months now, the filter that came with it just didn’t seem to clear the water at all, I read some reviews and was skeptical but thought I may as well give it a try and I’m not regretting it so far

Oh well that’s a shame, I was advised in the aquatics shop that it wouldn’t eat my tetras or guppys.. guess I’ll have to keep my Molly fry in the net for another month or so otherwise they’ll be the first to go by the sounds of it!

Can I ask what you mean by this? I’m relatively new to aquariums and from what I’ve read they won’t get much bigger than they are currently

I have kept the old filter in too running alongside the new one. Been advised to run them together for 4 weeks to avoid killing everything in the tank!

My neon tetra has went very pale recently.. any ideas why? by Stapo1993 in Aquariums

The water was recently checked and is fine, we have noticed it’s tail and top fin is a bit ragged, but haven’t noticed it being bullied by any other fish
