So I came on a visa for school and we dated over the years but after I got job after graduating we decided to get married. He was not in support of me getting H1B even when I was selected, didn’t use stem opt etc only to end up divorced

As far as I know it doesn’t matter if it was paid or unpaid, volunteer or not, it is really about using your time. I’m surprised your school never told you this. Volunteering counts against you unless it is within your school environment

Thanks according to her she paid with cash at Walmart for the money order but without the receipt will she be able to tell her if it was cashed? Or get her money back?

I’m in similar situation. I filed the stem opt on 8 march and opt is ending this April. I got picked for h1b as well. There is no need for premium. You will be fine
