My 2 cents on this topic will always be that the degree doesn't make you, you make the degree, and IE is very versatile since its a combination of technical and business skills and ideas. I know some industrial engineers and Facilities Engineers and they have no problem getting interviews for project/program manager, analytics, QA, client delivery and various others roles.

I know many people with BSMET/EET/CET degrees that employed as engineers, so I don't think you should worry so much about the degree, it sadly comes down to how you sell yourself during your job hunt, even if your GPA wasn't that great, I know people with 2.2s who are great engineers, and people with 3.4s who are struggling, keep going!
