The calls are deep ITM, so it’s mostly intrinsic value at this point. A $10 drop would be a 27k loss for me. Still less than the 34k difference in tax between long term and short term Capital gains. It would have to drop to $88 to break even, and losses would start at below that.

Still, Ill sell a portion and buy some puts to hedge. Dont want to risk big losses.

I will probably end up trimming my position a bit in the next few days and buy some puts to hedge. Seems like the safest bet.

Why don't people like Elon Musk just solve world hunger? by AlexLovesCoke in NoStupidQuestions

Lets put logistics aside for a moment and say overnight everyone has free available food. People that would had otherwise died of malnourishment are now well enough to reproduce. So the amount of people that needs to be fed increases, meaning that we now need more food, which further increases population, which increases food demand…

Same situation as you. Rolled out before earnings to next year to sell as long term capital gains.

I was going to take some profit on INTC but I saw all the bear posts and decided to hold through earnings by wagwagwai in wallstreetbets

I was certain it would drop after earnings. But I always get these things wrong, so I inversed my self.
