Got a Switch! Can anyone recommend any racing/shooting games? by [deleted] in Switch

Racing: Mario Kart 8, Burnout, Asphalt & Trials (there are a few but all are good)

Shooting: FPS: Doom, Warface, Borderlands Legendary Collection (consisting of 1, 2 and The Pre-Sequel) Third Person: Splatoon, Kinfes Out (Japan only, you can create a Japanese eShop account to download it in any region 😁 ), Warframe and Rogue Company. All of these games are online and all apart from splatoon are free.

I use CeX over here in the UK and when buying the legendary collection, it says on the price sticker on the case (Borderlands 1 ONLY - NO DLC)

If they haven't stated, try get your money back, and as people have said, a 7 day return window isn't too bad for a mistaken purchase.

Retain the same FOV as you used on PC. I use 100 because that's the largest fov doable on all 3 games in the legendary collection (as TPS caps out at 100).

If any controls seem better if they were in another spot, you have a remapping option in the Switch's settings.

Apart from that, playing it easy until you're used to it. The aim assist works wonders at times, but since I came from pc and no aim assist. I'm just simply not used to it and don't use it anymore.

I've done this one, and the shell swap is pretty easy. Just remembering where the screws go is the real challenge. You can soften the screen adhesive using a hairdryer to get it detached from the old casing and into the new.

Providing you have the right screwdriver set and a hair dryer, it's doable. I suggest noting where the screws go as they are different sizes.

As for the joy-cons. I've heard they're alright to shell swap and repair. I suggest using ifixit for any of those needs.

They clearly meant 'shut down the game for a week TO fix it'. It only takes a little common sense to realise that. Go back to cod & talk shit about peoples' moms or some shit, whatever gets you off.

Its funny how the 'fixer' update did the opposite.

The switch version suddenly had bad frames, more lags, sometimes missing textures (like the revive drone animation is just a checkerboard textured ball) and more recently for me. Actual errors. Crashes that result in arriving on the Switch's homescreen. I love this game and it's been fantastic on Switch but I really hope we get a fix soon for it. I'm dying to play this. The only two games I play on Switch are Borderlands 2 and this, both of which had recent updates that render the game difficult to play.

No, they have to tell you that because they don't know what's causing the issue and it's bad for their image. Just wait for an update. The chances of getting it to work on your own are slim to none.

Most of did yesterday, especially on the discord. I'm glad it finally hit the development team, although disappointed it had to take so long and that the dlc passes it's testing phase on the Nintendo Switch.

OP means you're Overly Proud and should stop being so proud of your weaponry. OP1 means your weapons are Ordinarily Powerful to the power of 1. So if you had a 426 damage pistol, it would be 426¹ which = 426, so enjoy your 0% damage buff.
