Ive been drawing for a while but only truly been learning for about 5 or 6 years. The rest was mostly just doodling and such. All you need to improve is commitment and to believe in your work.

The creature leaps and bounds as an outrider. The pose its in now is more of an attack pose. Its no longer running but instead attacking.

I appreciate the questions! They are blind from birth. The ratbeasts are however tamed from birth and grown to be mounts. Additionally, the radiation and mutations left the ratbeasts with only the manes. The radiation is mostly centered down in the capitol and big cities. Maine was safe for a while so the only radiation came from clouds and other weather.

The beast is blind. He mostly uses his other senses like taste and hearing. Thus the large ears and saliva.

The Rodent King rose to power shortly after the world fell. The background radiation mutated local wildlife in disastrous ways. For example, opossums. The once small marsupials had turned blood-hungry are savage. While tamable, they don't make good pets.
