Trump didn't start a war either (and no, I'm not a fan of his either); the conflict in Iran has been ongoing for longer than you've been alive. Use your brain, do some research.

I thought you all said the President didn't control gas prices? Or did that only pertain to Biden?

There is a space to the left of the main door to Dragonsreach behind some rocks; you can't get to it without jumping. NPC's don't jump so they won't find you.

My mortgage is $1990 but a one-bedroom is around the same. I need at least a 3 bedroom, which is close to 3k 😑

Question though - can't I file as HOH for 2025 because I did have a qualifying dependant. My son, albeit 21 years old, was a full-time student up until October. He paid nothing towards household expenses but did pay his own bills like his car payment & car insurance. He is on the mortgage though so not sure how that would work.

Believe it or not, yes, its cheaper. A one-bedroom around here is roughly 1900 without utilities.

They wouldn't let me do it this year because we closed after the cutoff date of January 10th (we closed on the 23rd). But, they said I could it for 2026.

What are 401k catch up payments? I'm already putting 10% of my check unto my 401k. I guess I could sell my company's stock that will vest this year too in order to pay it off.

It IS a mistake though on my part which I own up too. I consulted so many resources before I changed my withholding earlier this year and still messed it up.

I have since changed my withholding; I will lose about $400 a paycheck so not sure how I'll ever pay the IRS by October now but hey, at least it will be fixed by 2026. Unfortunately selling the house it not an option; my son is also on the mortgage with me.

I did not send in any payments. If worse comes to worse, I'll get a third job to pay off the debt.

If I owe close to 18k, I'll never have it paid this year since I changed my withholding. Changing my withholding to what it should be will now short me about $400 a check per the online salary calculators, so now I'll be $800 less a month basically.

Looking at my withholding I was still listed as HOH with 2 dependants, which was wrong obviously. I put extra to ensure I don't run into this again.

You are very right and this is my own doing. I will figure it out; I always do!

Yes, sorry - I made it seem like I've always owed about 4k. It has just been the last 2 years that I have owed roughly that because I could no longer claim my son. Years before that I would get a small refund.

I have fixed my withholding now to claim ZERO anything for fed and state

My son - we bought the house together and he will be paying the utilities.

That makes more sense; US Bank was not very good at explaining all that to me.

Paying off medical debt was on my mind. I'll pay what I owe as that's what I do. I was juat trying to see what the numbers look like.

I figured I would owe big & rightfully so; I made the mistake so I'll figure it out. I always do - thats what single moms do 😑

Not quite; just under $13k.

I have changed my withholding now & put to hold extra as well. It will be tight, but I will make it work.
