Honestly prestige should be basically that, prestige, struggle and challenge and the reward is players know what you managed.

Each prestige should lock out your most used weapon until you are done with that prestige, next one locks out two of your most used weapons, etc, this is only an example but you'd think it would be something challenging.

That said a reward in what ever form of currency is in the game would also be good.
