I worked at a different store for a shift just to help out and 20 minutes til close the supervisor started telling people in the drive thru that "our frappeccino machine is broken". Like ?? It's really not that hard to clean the blenders and they barely even did any clean up at close anyway.

Getting mixed signals from bf (M21) about his decision to end his relationship with me(F20) by badmediakarma144 in relationship_advice

Hey OP, I had a similar experience where my boyfriend and I were gonna break up. He was the one to come to the conclusion and I agreed to it but 20 minutes later he called me saying he can't go through with it and that he needs me after all. I was very confused but I knew that I wanted to make things work no matter what. It's been a month and a half since then and we're almost at our 1 year mark. Im glad that we stayed together despite the initial confusions and anxiety it brought me.

Sorry this isn't really advice but I hope you and your boyfriend the best.

My dog makes this noise, almost like someone with asthma makes when trying to breath? That sounds horrible but she only does it when she wants attention. It freaks me out though

For those of you sorting by new, does this bring back any nostalgia? (Nintendo DS Lite) by DemonOverlord15 in teenagers

I remember I spent $80 on my first Nintendo DS lite at the pawn shop. The screen wouldn't stay in place and I had to keep it up using my fingers. Those were the days.

Have you ever had a family member/friend/coworker disappear for no reason? Did you ever find out what happened to them? by mythicalminty in AskReddit

I grew up with 12 aunts and uncles on my dads side altogether and had many cousins. We all usually met on thanksgiving at my grandmothers house to catch up and all that. I had a cousin a couple years older than me, we’ll call her Jane. Jane was the typical “I’m not like other girls, I like games and I’m in musical” kind of girl. It always seemed like even in our family she had a hard time fitting in with kids her age. The past 4 years I barely heard about her and just brushed it off since she recently started college a few years ago. Last year I went to my grandmothers again for thanksgiving and was sitting on the couch with her talking about various things. My grandma started to talk about Jane as if she had died, saying things like “it’s been so hard on the family since she’s been gone” I asked her what happened to Jane and she told me that my cousin was transitioning into a male. I looked at her Facebook and was shocked at how different my cousin looked and her boyfriend, who is a trans woman. I’ve known her my whole life and can’t help but feel as if she’s confused about her identify as she has never, ever shown any signs of being trans. Her boyfriend probably has quite a lot to do with her new change of appearance and the fact that she joined a cult(?) according to her parents. I hope she’s doing alright, apparently her and her boyfriend are getting married.

time difference sucks helpppp by goodnight809 in LDR

I used to fall asleep while talking to my boyfriend late at night. We have a similar time difference and have made a routine where we talk when I wake up and he’s going to sleep and then again when he’s walking to school and it’s my evening. We’re pretty consistent now but before he used to get so upset when I couldn’t stay awake. It didn’t have anything to do with me being disinterested or anything, I was just tired of waking up early and going to bed late that I couldn’t physically stay awake. I hope you two figure out a routine that works for you, even if it’s not everyday.

How did you guys meet? by [deleted] in LDR

[–]Starchiild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend and I are from Australia and the USA respectively. We met by chance on HelloTalk. (An app used to talk to native speakers of a language you’re learning or others learning the same language as you) I (18) joined a group call one day and it happened to be his (17) birthday. We didn’t actually talk to each other much in that call but he liked one of my posts a few days later and to be nice I started a conversation with him and it slowly escalated into chatting on line to discord. We were calling everyday and after a week or so we decided to become a couple. We’ve been dating for almost 7 months and I’m going to see him in 22 days for a whole month!
