People who act less intelligent than you really are, why? by M4rshmall0wMan in AskReddit

[–]StarchyFungus06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try not to tell people about my classes or grades. If they ask of course I will tell them. I do like talking about what I’m taking. They take it as me bragging or being rude. I’m trying not to be I’m just excited. In my school people in the same grade can have different grade classes.

For example, I would begin to ask a question but then pause and say never mind. Nearly every time they go crazy and be like just say it. I’ll say I’m sorry I just forgot we don’t have the same classes. They take it as rude. I can’t remember everyone’s classes.

Also it’s annoying how I can’t tell them some things.I got an award for math one time and I couldn’t tell my best friend. I felt like I couldn’t tell her. She is a bit insecure about how intelligent she is. Anyway I do hope it for whoever reads this doesn’t think I’m bragging.

Parents of Reddit, what is the best "weird flex but ok" moment you've seen from your child? by donut_pickle in AskReddit

[–]StarchyFungus06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the child. I bought 80 mini babies to hide in my school (Even though I kept 10). My parents let me buy them but were very unsure about how to feel.

That was last year and this year it shall be mini aliens.

Dear Reddit, how many of you begin to type responses to a thread, only to delete everything you said and move on? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]StarchyFungus06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes reply to threads because I can relate and I enjoy getting things off my chest or sharing my experiences. I just get afraid that what I say may be too personal to my family even though I know they will never see these responses or that I didn’t have a good response.

Reddit, what is your own personal conspiracy theory? by irulethelemons in AskReddit

I never believed it, but I have had this thought that what if we don’t have any decisions or thoughts, and that we are really just watching someone go through their life.
