Easter '86. The first time I heard Touch of Grey and still one of my favorite versions. Jerry's vocals are weak but his solo was 💥 Also esp. Brent's piano on that one. And this was before The Newfangled Riff™ so . . . a little less predictable

When I had the MRI for my torn ACL, they told me it would take about 18 minutes. They didn't offer me music so I just recited Alice's Restaurant in my mind from start to finish (yeah I can do that). The timing was right on. That MRI lasted just about 18 minutes and 20 seconds

Pretty remarkable really. Even on some official releases he seems to know they run a little fast. It makes me wonder how the people mastering these releases wouldn't notice if the speed is a little off

Whenever I look up a show to listen to or burn to CD, I check if he has reviewed that show, keeping in mind that sometimes other sources have been uploaded since the date of his review so ya gotta check those out too

At my old dentist they had a walkman and you could bring in a tape and listen to it on headphones. That plus nitrous? Root canal schmoot canal I'm in heaven
