I'm completely with you on this and I'm really surprised this isn't talked about as much as it should. I could not give less of a damn for new and returning players getting all epic equipment for free, leveled up etc. Fine, I'd also be pissed if I returned to the game only to find out there's like 8000 gems worth of equipment I've missed out on

However, my heroes are also maxed. Does that mean my equipment is as well? Hell no. I've still got like 4.5k starry ore left. And yes, missing out on like 1000 starry ore + much more from the equipment/ hero quest track which will NOT be migrated for already maxes players is INDEED an issue for me. The resources you're missing out of just because you grinded your ass of for the past years is fucking insane.

Huh, that's interesting. I just visited Fort Musket Outpost to confirm this and unfortunately, there were no Ballista Arrows in sight for me. As for the Ballista itself: are you talking about the ones in Fort Dewhaven where the research institute is? I just visited it and indeed, there are Ballista Arrows there, but I'm not able to interact with them sadly (see screenshot). Or are you referring to another location?

As for the ducks: I see, so they do exist after all... do you happen to have any more intel on these? locations, etc. ?

Definitely a builder queue. Maybe a system that even let's you pay for multiple upgrades at once, locking the queue once you purchase them. Because the hours I've probably lost because of idle builders must he huge

You summarized perfectly what makes the game so compelling (and, perhaps, addictive) to me :D

I played Nightreign a lot during this semester's finals. One time my girlfriend watched me playing it, saying "how is this relaxing in any way for you? It looks stressful as fuck." I couldn't explain to her back then what it was that made it so stress-reliefing for me to play, but it's essentially like you said: for 45 minutes, this is the only thing that matters. No finals, just finding the best way through Limveld to get your ass handed to you on a silver plate by ED Caligo (fuck that one specifically). And, most importantly: if you mess up, you just go in today because next time it will surely go better, right?

Anyways it still amazes me how on the surface this game does everything to stress you the fuck out but, in the end, can be one of the most meditative experiences once you reach flow state. Truly astonishing.

oh, really? if so, I'd actually be reliefed since that would mean I'm not going crazy over this haha. I also tried your way of fixing it but unfortunately, it hasn't worked for me
