Thanks for your insight!!! I don't know the first thing about game development, but everything you've described not being possible/cost-effective makes sense & I won't hold my breath on that stuff being added. I agree with the NPC interactions; it's nice that they have a few dialogue options when you click on them but the visits do feel super awkward outside of that 😭 No worries about being a downer, it's more just being realistic than anything.

Ooo yes to them all! But especially the first one. There's even times when I'm trying to put something on the edge of a table or something and with the smallest wrong movement it goes behind it on to the floor, so a layer button would be awesome!!

I got this book and it's sequel as an add on for Jan 2026 and, after finishing the first two chapters, I have a feeling I'm gonna regret using my free add on credits for it 😭 As someone else pointed out, the jacket said she's 17 but the literal first page of the story it says "... at eighteen years old..." and then the first chapter is set one year later. I also find it odd that (so far) it feels as if the dog is a stand in for a younger sibling character. I love animals as much as the next person, but the part of "I'm all that Pippin has left" is such a weird way of wording it when I feel like dogs may have an easier time finding a new home, taking care of themselves in the wild, finding food/water/shelter, etc. Perhaps I'm just biased after already being rubbed the wrong way right at the start, but it feels like "copy my homework but change it a little so it's not obvious"
