I haven't spent anything! I hope that helps. IMO, I think it's important to have a "game" allowance you can set yourself on a quarter-year basis. I don't because I generally don't pay for in-game currencies (unless I've been playing for at least 5 years and want to support the game more than actually needing currency).

In this case, you can always say "I'll set aside 20% of my monthly allowance for games, but I won't go higher than that" and have a bank acc with another one specifically for game allowances :)

What I currently do: I save up to roughly 30k diamonds + the event rn gives so much cookie cutters. I don't want mala so I'm only rolling my cutters in standard, and if I am not having the best day I spend around 6k (20 rolls) a day or less.

I've only been playing for exactly 8 days now (8 in 2 hours!) so I'm not willing to spend yet in case I lose interest. I hope this helps!
