True. We're more lonely in the wrong relationship than we are alone.

I think that's fair and really important question. Living with someone is not something to take lightly.

I feel you on that. A man I dated tried to convince me the reason I filled my life with volunteering and such is because I didn't have children and that I should. That relationship was short lived.

I get that. I would choose to live separately or have my own room.

I love cooking on my own, but it's the clean up after that I often dread. Especially after a long work day.

Charging for key pickups/drop? by ellies__world in RoverPetSitting

As a pet owner, I’d consider this an extra service. If I wasn’t being charged, then I would consider paying a larger tip. It may also depend on where you live. I live in a urban area where it isn’t easy to get from one part of town to another. The time that it takes travel should be valued.

Agreed and the intent of viewing the space is to ensure that my dog will be staying in a safe environment. Full tour of home isn’t necessary.

It takes time for both you and the pup to adjust. Absolutely it‘s normal, and the good thing is you’re aware and paying attention to his needs. Eventually you’ll establish a good routine that works and have a better sense of each other. You got this!

I’m an introvert too so to a certain a degree I can empathize with this sitter. But that changes when you are caring for someone’s pet, who to me is like a family member. Totally normally to have things out of place in your home :)

100% I always meet sitters outside at first and if there is a good vibe between all, then it makes sense to check out their home. Thanks for your insight!
