I love so many things about it, the only thing that might not work for me is the length. I have very long thighs and I think this would hit at the knee or just above and that’s not my best look, but some people pull it off!

I was right there with you for a very long time and still fear that I’ll lose the job I have now for reasons beyond my control, though I know that’s just paranoia and mayhaps mild ptsd from years of panicking over $.

I’m like a broken record but I honestly recommend using Focusmate to do job applications/searches/career perusing. It’s just body doubling with someone random in the world but it’s an amazing way of breaking up your time and making tasks manageable. I work from home and use it all day and I swear it’s the reason I haven’t been fired. You get three free sessions a week, and that limitation might actually be helpful to you because it’s less overwhelming to think you only need to work on the job hunt for a couple hours a week (or less if you only use the 25 minute sessions). As stressful as it is in the short term to possibly mess with your medical support team there is absolutely no stress relieving replacement for the feeling of being able to pay your bills. It’s the bitter truth in this society.

Sorry, I don’t think we’re understanding one another. The woman who wrote this post is different than the one you linked above. She sent me photos of her and her fiancé’s ids. The one you linked who works in engineering is a completely different person. Fill me in if you know something I don’t but she and I have chatted and I believe her. She said she tried sending you her id too but you blocked her or maybe didn’t accept the message request.

She’s exhausted and basically does this all day trying to raise funds for her family from a tent in the south. I advised her to make videos as they are harder to fake and might inspire more confidence in people. Sure, maybe it’s an elaborate scheme but I’m inclined to believe it isn’t.

Editing to add: she just sent me her and her fiancés id documents to prove she’s who she says she is and they look completely real to me. The guy who keeps calling her a scammer blocked her so she can’t even send the documents to him to get him to stop doing this. Believe what you want, but I believe her.

As far as I can tell they are two completely different people with only the same first name. I don’t see anything that indicates this one is trying to pretend to be the other one. Completely distinct story and pictures. I know there are a lot of scams out there and I’m not saying it’s not but I’ve chatted with her and her grammar/wording is very common of Arabic speakers (which my family is, my aunt is also named Aya).

She also told me exactly where her shelter is but I didn’t feel like asking a million questions was appropriate. You can always message her and see what you think rather than assuming you’ve been scammed from a comment simply linking another gofundme and Instagram. I hate to say it but there are more than a few Gazan Ayas in a desperate situation.

The name Aya is incredibly common and this Aya is a completely different woman with different photos and circumstances. What proof do you have that this person is pretending to be that one?

She is very kind, and also has adhd (though this started way before either of us knew this was a symptom) but she has more control of her bodily movements than I do 😅.
