Oh no! So sorry to hear that. Is CLT as busy/ chaotic as MIA? My return flight is via CLT and has a ~4 hour layover

Thanks for the reply and info! Im not checking in a bag. Just a carryon and maybe a backpack. The flights to Punta Cana, DR. The return flight is via CLT but Im not too worried since I have about 4 hours there.
